Navigator continues to be troubled, and is unable to sleep. While off digging for clams along the beach, he is attacked roughly 200' from the party. Over the course of several rounds, the Navigator is killed, but not before severely wounding the monster. If the group approaches, there is a serious risk of death. Yet if the monster is slain, the loot and boasting will be excellent, plus some leads on the BBEG.
